Daydream is what Google has introduced as its mobile VR(Virtual Reality) platform.Though,it will be built into Android N. This announcement comes as a giant leap to virtual reality in the future, and can be called the stepping stone to VR apps and services. There are mainly three aspects of daydream -"Correct smartphone specifications, correct headsets and the compatible apps".

Allo is a new messaging application which is introduced by the Google. It will be coming to Android as well as iOS after this summer. The main interested things about Allo is that Allo is a French word for ‘hello’ and the smartest messenger app. Allo comes with some interesting and different features like Whisper Shout and more that lets you add more emotion and emoticons to your chats. Chats on Allo can also be encrypted like whats app and like the incognito mode on Google’s Chrome browser you also get an incognito mode in Allo chat with end-to end encryption.

Allo has been accompanied by a new video messaging app known as a Duo. Yes, if you have not noticed, it is much like an Apple splitting FaceTme and iMessages. This App comes with an interesting feature which called ‘Knock Knock’ that lets you preview what’s happening at the callers end, before you receive the video call. So when a call is ringing via Duo, you can see what’s happening on the other side before you place the call.

Android N:

To begin with, Android N will support the Vulcan graphics API for mobile. This API helps to optimise the GPU component of your mobile chipset to give a better gaming performance. It comes with Just in Time compiler ensuring a 75% of higher rate of app installations and reduction of 50% in compilation code. Google has already gone all out with its productivity features like Recents menu which has been updated to view the last seven opened apps, Quick Switch to access your last used app by double tapping the recents screen, Clear All button and so on. Along with productivity, it is also more secure.

Android Instant apps:

The new Android Instant apps give the facility to access apps from anywhere without installing the app. It will let you run Android apps such a easy way its like that you are loading a page in browser. And, it is compatible all the way back to the Android Jelly Bean Version.

Google Home:

Amazon’s Echo has been receiving accolades, and so Google just feel that it should get a competitor. It has introduced Google Home, a small device that works like the Amazon Echo but it is developed and powered by the Google Assistant. This is the control center for your home and your voice will be the remote control. It is as easy as to Set alarms, manage to do list, connect smart home, home networking syncing, and Nest devices and so on. In future it will be able to control stuff outside your homes – opening garage doors, ordering flowers, etc.

Google Assistant:

It combines the power of search as well as machine learning, Google has just announced a powerful search assistant and it will not only provide relevant search results, but will offer better answers to follow up questions. An update to something in you devices the Google Now already does. You can input your query and get an answer along with more questions as Google picks up a proper conversation and keeps returning the relevant answers. This service is already integrated in Google’s new messaging app Allo to act as a chat bot picking up words from your conversations and it gives suggestions like a coffee shop or the nearest movie hall where your favourite movie is being played.

Android Wear 2.0:

This one also gets its biggest overhaul ever since 2014. With the Wear 2.0, developers can now make data from their app/apps which appear on any watch face. The new changes are bringing in a new experience while using the watch. It will be ensured that watches rely less on their phones. This gadget also introduces a full-fledged API for complications. This Complications API allows android wear app developers to pass raw data to watch faces. Google also adds two new input methods as tiny little swipe-style keyboard and a handwriting recognition mode.

Google VR headset:

Google has announced a reference design of its VR device. It definitely looks more polished than the Cardboard.

This are the 9 main and big Announcement from Google I/O 2016. Now we can easily understand the future plan from Google from these announcements. We have to just wait little bit more for these announcements implementation. Still that time you can just pre-register google new apps Allo and Duo for Android and iOS from play stores and iTunes.
